Location: Central Manor Rd and Letort Rd
On 04/16/2024 at 22:09 BRFR were dispatched for a single vehicle accident with reported entrapment. Engine 903, Engine 907, Brush 903, Rescue 905 and QRS 90 responded. Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle accident, with two occupants trapped. Engine 903 began patient assessment, stabilization, and deployed a handline. Rescue 905 stabilized the vehicle, and extricated the two victims, assisted by crews from Engines 903 and 907. All BRFR units were returned in service by 00:15.

On 04/16/2024 at 16:23 BRFR Engine 905 was dispatched to assist station 58 with a working industrial fire. Crews assisted with suppression operations. BRFR units returned in service at 19:00.

On 04/07/2024 at 18:16 BRFR Engine 901 and Engine 905 were dispatched to assist Station 66 with a working apartment fire. Engine 905 arrived as the second due engine, assisting with water supply. Crews from Engine 901 and 905 assisted with suppression operations.

On 03/15/2024 at 14:00 BRFR was dispatched for a reported house fire in Manor Township. Engine 901, Engine 903, Engine 905 and Engine 907 Responded, along with Truck 67 and Engine 66-1. Upon arrival, crews found a small fire extending up the side of the structure. The Fire was knocked down, and crews were returned in service by 14:30.

On 03/15/2024 at 01:15 BRFR was dispatched for a single vehicle into a structure. Rescue 905 and Engine 901 Responded. Crews secured utilities, and assisted EMS. BRFR units were returned in service by 02:00.

Blue Rock Fire Rescue Station 903 Highville holds a piece of history from Sterling Fire Co. Squad 903 although all redone to BRFR lettering, a spot was saved in honor of Sterling volunteer Fire Co. Our thoughts and prayers are with Firefighter Trevor Browns family, friends and all the members at Sterling fire co. We are also keeping in our prayers Loudoun County Fire Co. and the volunteers and civilians who were trapped and injured. Rest easy Firefighter Trevor Brown we will take it from here

1 Alarm Fire, Box 901-5
On 02/13/2024 at 17:41 Blue Rock Fire Rescue was dispatched for a reported dwelling fire in the 600 block of Millersville road. Engine 901, Engine 903, Engine 905, Engine 907, Rescue 905, Fire Police 90, QRS 90, Chief 905, Deputy 901 and Deputy 907 responded, along with mutual aid partners. The first arriving crews found a single story single family residence fire showing from the rear.
Crews from E901 and E905 put two lines in service to the rear, whilst T67 performed a primary search and ventilated the roof. One cat was rescued un-injured. The fire was contained to the rear of the property. No injuries were reported.
All crews returned in service by 20:00. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Many thanks to our mutual aid partners for their assistance. This was the second working fire that BRFR responded to within 24hrs.

Box 66-03, 2 Alarm Fire
On 02/12/24 at 23:32 Blue Rock Fire Rescue Engine 901, Engine 905 and Rescue 905 were requested mutual aid by Lancaster Township Fire Co. to respond to a working commercial fire. BRFR crews assisted with fire supression and roof ventilation.

Location: Route 999 & Route 741
At 15:53 Rescue 905, Engine 905, and Engine 66-1 (Lancaster Township Station 66) were dispatched to route 999 & route 741 for a multi vehicle accident. Rescue 905 arrived on scene finding a 6 car vehicle accident. Crews from 905 and 66 assisted with fluid control and patient care until Ems arrived on scene. Fire police from 90 and 66 also responded to shut down the roadway. Crews were on scene for 2 hours before returning.

At 06:50 Engine's 903, 907, and Rescue 905 responded to a vehicle accident with reported entrapment at Charlestown Rd & Central Manor Rd. Chief 907 arrived finding one patient confined in the vehicle.

2 Alarm Residential fire, Box 901-1
At 10:55 Blue Rock Fire Rescue and Mutual aid responded to a house fire that was called out by ems on Cornell Ave in Manor Township. Crews were on scene for several hours.
All units were returned in service by 14:00. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Many thanks to our mutual aid partners for their assistance.

Attention Millersville Borough and University residents, Blue Rock Fire Rescue in conjunction with Lancaster EMS and local law enforcement, fire departments, and EMS will be conducting an active assailant training exercise on Tuesday, October 12 from 7:00 am till 1:00 pm. This training exercise will be occurring at Millersville University's Winter Visual & Performing Arts Center along West Cottage Avenue. Exercise staff is asking for residents to avoid the area during these times. During the exercise, residents may see and hear numerous emergency vehicles responding to the area. Exercise such as this one allows all our first responders the opportunity to practice their skills under a controlled situation.

Blue Rock Fire Rescue units were dispatched to the 300 block of Walnut Hill Road in Manor Township for a reported vehicle fire. Engine's 905 and 909 arrived and found a well-involved combine fire. Crews from stations 903, 905, and 907 initiated fire attack and established a water supply. Additional mutual aid resources were requested for manpower due to the extreme heat. Crews operated on the scene for several hours before returning to service.

Units were dispatched for a reported woods fire. Crews arrived and found a well involved wooded area on the side of a hill running up towards the Columbia Borough landfill. Crews from Blue Rock and several neighboring companies spent two hours attacking the fire on the steep terrain.
